Our training schedule has been designed to help you understand the capabilities of our tech and ensure that you and your team know exactly how to access the data you need, when you need it.
So, what are the top 5 tips we’d recommend on how to become a Fleet Management Software pro?
- Training webinars
Available to all Teletrac Navman customers, we offer free online training webinars which last between 15-60 minutes.
Covering topics from Driver Scorecards and Safety Analytics, to the in-depth DIRECTOR Fundamentals module, our sessions are hosted online via GoToWebinar by our in-house Training team, with various dates available to choose from all to accommodate busy diaries.
These dates are also updated monthly, so you can rest assured there’ll always be training sessions on-hand ready for you to book, whenever you need them!
That said, we also appreciate that there may be a particular area of the software that’s not listed on our training schedule, but you’re really keen to explore more. - DIRECTOR in Detail
Based on our top frequently asked questions during our training webinars, we’ve built out a series of short how-to video guides which explore a number of DIRECTOR features in deeper detail.
All less than 2 minutes long, these videos are ideal to use as mini tutorials or refresher sessions for your team. They show screen capture footage taken straight from our DIRECTOR software, and lists the instructions at the bottom too.
Try passing on a video to your office team on how to build geofences, then test their knowledge by asking them to set one up. Short and sweet, and you can watch it as many times as you need to!
- Show Me How
We also offer a “Show Me How” service embedded in our DIRECTOR software, which is active 24/7 and is the perfect little guide on literally, showing you how to do stuff.
Simply navigate to the “?” icon in the top right hand corner of your screen to access our materials, or take a look at this handy video which explains how to find it.

From the “?” icon in DIRECTOR, you can visit our Help Centre by just clicking “Help”
This fantastic resource is absolutely full of useful training topics such as how to run a safe fleet, to maintaining vehicles and reducing road violations. It’s also split out into driver, asset and report sections making it easy to find what it is you’re looking for.
But if you’re browsing and struggling to find a certain article, simply use the search bar at the top of the page to narrow down your results. For example, “stop signs” will bring up 10+ relevant articles, or “dash cam” will serve our product information.
