Corporate Responsibility

We're committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and we always strive to do what's right.

For our employees, our customers, our partners, and our all of our communities.

We understand how important for our customers, and their customers, to partner with companies that demonstrate a commitment to sustainability. That's why we're so proud to say that we've received the Gold Recognition Level from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings!

To qualify for this, EcoVadis experts evaluate company performance on 21 material issues that were grouped into four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed in these areas as they pertain to their company's size, location and industry.

Now, our detailed environmental, social and ethical assessment and full business sustainability rating from EcoVadis is available to view. This report highlights our strategy and practices that positively impact employees, partners, the communities in which we operate and the broader world around us. These commitments ensure we embed sustainability into every aspect of our business, setting us apart as the employer, partner and investment of choice through our efforts to build a smarter, more connected world.

Cars, trucks, buses and heavy machinery are essential assets that support human activity and the global economy. At Teletrac Navman, we develop technology that empowers businesses to digitally transform how they manage these mobile assets, while doing it in a way that is responsible, sustainable and provides value to the community. We enable businesses large and small to streamline their operations, reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions, and help create a safer work environment for their drivers, operators and the public, as well as contribute to the global economy in a way that all can benefit.

This begins with investments in our employees and our community. Our customers and shareholders expect us to positively contribute to the progress of our communities. And, our employees look forward to it – giving back is essential to who we are. In 2018 alone, more than 200 Teletrac Navman employees from around the world, supported 13 different charity and community organisations and volunteered more than 820 hours in service of others.

We look beyond simply providing a service to our customers, and instead seek to positively impact environmental issues worldwide and seek to offer a safe and rewarding work environment for our employees. As part of Fortive, we believe in a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, as well as inclusion and diversity. These values have landed us on the Best Places to Work for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Queer (LGBTQ) Equality list as well as earned us a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index.

We bask in our diversity, knowing that each employee draws from their unique background and experience. That mixture of ideas allows us to effectively serve our customers, contribute to growth, and make a positive impact in the world around us.

As part of Fortive, we are a wide-reaching portfolio of 20 operating companies doing business in 54 countries, allowing for our 24,000 employees to make a difference in their community, contribute to the local economy and be stewards of the environment. We strive to minimize waste, avoid pollution, and adopt sustainable practices.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by leveraging Fortive Business Systems to deploy targets and continuously improving our performance against them. Going forward, we will continue to build off past successes and explore new opportunities to improve. We invite you to explore our Corporate Social Responsibility Report here.
