A call for fuel pricing transparency

After much lobbying the plight of the Fair Fuel Campaign was heard earlier this week in a parliamentary debate, with nearly every MP present calling for transparency in fuel pricing.

The government should take heed and show that it is taking steps to ease concerns about the rising cost of fuel. The smoke screens and mirrors need to be put away and questions need to be answered, "Why is fuel tax so high?", "Why are oil price reductions not reflected in pump prices?" and "Where is our ??1.40 per litre actually going?"
